Objectives

To explore the geographical formation and characteristics of coastal lakes along the Romanian Black Sea shore.
To understand the ecological role of lakes such as Tekirghiol, Siutghiol, Tașaul, and Tăbăcărie in supporting biodiversity.
To analyze how human activities (tourism, fishing, urban development) influence the health of these ecosystems.
To investigate the environmental challenges facing coastal lakes, including pollution, habitat loss, and climate change.
To raise awareness among students about the importance of protecting fragile environments at the boundary between land and sea
To encourage teamwork, research skills, and creative presentation methods (maps, posters, models, or digital media).
To connect classroom knowledge in biology, geography, and environmental science with real-world local examples.
