The plastic waste is an issue intensely researched and studied. It is also the subject of concern of many organizations, trying to develop legislation to limit its impact on natural ecosystems and human health. Recently, the focus on the litter management has been oriented towards microplastic - a field very little researched so far. That is why we set out this project focused on the study of microplastic in Black Sea waters and coastal ecosystems, but, at the same time, we tried to identify solutions to meet the need for plastics with different uses.
