Constanta to Orte

Poza

Participating in an Erasmus project is always an exciting and eye-opening adventure. Our journey from Constanța, Romania, to Orte, a small town in Italy, was filled with challenges, discoveries, and unforgettable moments.

The first challenge we faced was coordinating our travel. With a large group, navigating airports and transportation was not easy, but we managed to stay together and arrive safely. The contrast between the bustling Constanța and the peaceful Orte was immediately noticeable. The moment we stepped into the town center, we felt a completely different vibe—one of unity and community.

One of the most remarkable experiences was witnessing the strong sense of togetherness in Orte. Unlike the fast-paced lifestyle in Constanța, the locals in Orte seemed more connected. A memorable moment was when a group of townspeople spontaneously gathered in the square and started dancing. This heartwarming event showcased the deep cultural bonds that define Orte’s community.

During our stay, we spoke with locals about our mobility program, sharing perspectives and learning from each other. We also enjoyed a delicious meal at a traditional Italian restaurant, tasting some of the best pasta dishes. Additionally, we visited their high school, where we interacted with students and teachers, exchanging ideas about education and culture.

This Erasmus project was more than just a trip—it was a lesson in adaptation, teamwork, and cultural appreciation. Orte may be small, but its people and atmosphere left a lasting impact. This journey reminded us that no matter how different our backgrounds may be, human connections and shared experiences bring us closer together.
