Fight with the Dragon – Cristea Maria-Eliza
As someone who had the amazing opportunity to be involved in the “Fight with the Dragon” project, I can safely say that this experience has been an enlightening one, not just for me, but also for dozens of other students. Working on the eTwinning platform only made the whole experience much smoother and more enjoyable.
Before our departure to Poland, I teamed up with 3 of my best friends in order to make a project about the Petromidia Refinery. We are all extremely passionate about the environment and we did a great deal of research in order to come up with practical solutions to help reduce the negative impact it has on our planet.
Working on the eTwinning platform was truly a great experience for me. One of my personal favorite aspects of using it was that we were offered the opportunity to work with students from Poland. This not only expanded my horizons, but also improved my communication and collaboration skills. The platform provided a safe and secure environment for sharing resources, such as projects or educational materials.
The Erasmus program itself was an exciting adventure. Our days were filled with activities regarding the environment, but also with trips to historical landmarks, visiting important locations and interacting with the students we spend months working with on eTwinning. This experiences really allowed me to fully immerse myself in the Polish culture, gaining insight into the country’s rich history, art and traditions.
To sum it all up, working on the “Fight with the Dragon” project was without a doubt an eye-opening experience, one that I will forever be grateful for.
