“Booktrailers” are short videos which present the author’s personal view on a well-known literary work created by an established wirter. Our students’ booktrailers will take you on a cultural journey across Europe; using digital storytelling, at least one novel is presented for almost each European country. Ovidius High School has implemented storytelling as a teaching-learning strategy during a previous Erasmus project (Read-IT - Training teachers to make READing fun through digITal storytelling; 2010-2012). Designed to encourage an appreciation of reading and to develop students’ expressivity and critical thinking skills, digital storytelling provides learners with the opportunity to present their reading experience creatively.
